Perhaps inadvertently, the State Department stops a famous muslim who had criticized violence perpetrated by Muslims. Um... this isn't a good way to demonstrate that the war on terrorism isn't a war on Islam. I mean, it looks a lot like we want to provoke a holy war.
Turns out the non-acceptance of Mr. Islam might have been a typographical error:

Yesterday's online edition of Time says that the name on the no-fly list was Youssouf Islam, not Yusuf Islam. They were looking for somebody else.
